I'm attempting to install AMP Server 3.5.44.1 on a WIN2k3 SP1 VMimage and receiving the following error message:

Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 1, or Windows Vista
Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 1

Please install and/or enable required components and perform a Microsoft Windows Update before re-running the setup.

We make extensive use of VMware for testing purposes here.  So, the problem is not VMware per se.  Per the error message, it's more likely that you're using an OS version that we don't currently support.  Although, the error message is misleading - AMP is currently only supported with W2K3 SP1.  Attached is a quickstart guide with the rest of the system requirements.
